What you could work on

Depending on your skills and the projects available, your work could include:

  • Research, documentation, and accurate record-keeping
  • CRM updates, inbox triage, and professional communications
  • Scheduling, meeting notes, and action-item follow-through
  • Data organization and operational support
  • Website or content updates when needed
  • Sales and marketing support tasks
  • Process documentation and checklists the POD can trust
  • AI-assisted workflows as you grow into them

The STRATUSstaff way

STRATUSstaff is built around small teams of three that we call PODS. Three people should operate as a team, share information, support each other, and collectively take responsibility for results. That means we care about how you work as much as the individual tasks you complete.

If you see something that needs attention, we want you to think about it — not simply decide that it is not “your task.”

  • Read and follow written instructions
  • Communicate clearly and keep the team informed
  • Document work so others can continue without you
  • Research before immediately asking for help
  • Follow through on commitments
  • Raise problems before they become emergencies
  • Look for what needs to happen next
  • Take responsibility for results — not only “your task”

Who we're looking for

Prior VA, executive assistance, BPO, or business administration experience is especially valuable. You do not need every tool we use — you do need to learn fast and finish what you start.

  • Strong written English and clear professional communication
  • Previous professional work experience
  • Reliable remote setup and solid computer / research skills
  • Attention to detail and personal accountability
  • Ability to work independently and inside a small POD
  • Willingness to learn tools you do not already know
  • Background in virtual assistance, admin, or remote operations
  • Pride in clean, professional work product
  • Calm under shifting priorities and multiple open threads

The career opportunity

Someone might begin with operational support. Then learn a CRM. Then own a recurring process. Then support a client workstream more independently. Then help lead parts of a POD. We cannot promise where that path leads — we can offer an environment where learning and reliability are noticed.

We cannot promise where that path will lead. What we can offer is an environment where initiative, learning, reliability, and leadership are noticed. Our goal is to find people who can grow from remote professionals into specialists, project owners, and leaders.

There is a difference between a job and an opportunity

If your only question is about today’s task list, STRATUSstaff may not be the right environment. If you are thinking about learning, ownership, and becoming more valuable, we want to meet you.

A job mindset

  • “What tasks will you give me today?”
  • Waiting to be told the next step
  • Doing only what is explicitly assigned

An opportunity mindset

  • “What can I learn?”
  • “What can I become responsible for?”
  • “How can I make this process better?”
  • “What does the team need next?”
  • “How can I become more valuable?”
