Project Manager
STRATUSstaff is looking for Project Managers who want more than another status-meeting job. We coordinate remote PODs that move real client work — and we want leaders who grow ownership over time, not people who only keep a task list tidy.
What you could work on
Depending on your strengths and the projects available, your work could include:
- Turning objectives into plans, priorities, and clear owners
- Coordinating distributed teammates across time zones
- Client and stakeholder communication
- Tracking deliverables, risks, and blockers
- Running standups and async updates in Basecamp
- Protecting quality while keeping timelines honest
- Documenting decisions so work survives handoffs
- Helping shape process as the POD scales
The STRATUSstaff way
STRATUSstaff is built around small teams of three that we call PODS. Three people should operate as a team, share information, support each other, and collectively take responsibility for results. That means we care about how you work as much as the individual tasks you complete.

Who we're looking for
Experience coordinating people, priorities, and deliverables (especially remote) is valuable. Comfort with modern project tools and calm under ambiguity matter more than a fancy title.
- Strong written English and clear professional communication
- Previous professional work experience
- Reliable remote setup and solid computer / research skills
- Attention to detail and personal accountability
- Ability to work independently and inside a small POD
- Willingness to learn tools you do not already know
- Experience leading or coordinating remote or distributed teams
- Habit of documenting status, decisions, and next actions
- Ability to spot problems before they become late surprises
The career opportunity
Someone might begin by coordinating a workstream. Then own a full project. Then earn deeper trust with a client. Then help run multiple POD deliveries. Then become a POD Leader. The exact path depends on the person and the opportunities available — we notice initiative, reliability, and leadership.
