Digital Marketing Designer

STRATUSstaff is looking for designers who want more than endless one-off graphics. Turn campaign briefs into work people notice — social ads, email, PDFs, landing concepts — and grow into owning creative systems and delivery inside a POD.

What you could work on

Depending on your skills and the projects available, your work could include:

  • Social media ads, campaign slicks, and promotional graphics
  • Email marketing graphics, banners, and newsletter layouts
  • PDFs, brochures, flyers, reports, and digital collateral
  • Landing page and website UI concepts that support conversion
  • Adapting creative across sizes, platforms, brands, and campaigns
  • Reusable templates for recurring marketing work
  • Partnering with POD members to turn ideas into finished assets quickly
  • Documenting source files and reusable assets so others can continue

A strong portfolio matters. You do not need every tool on day one — Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar are all valuable starting points.

The STRATUSstaff way

STRATUSstaff is built around small teams of three that we call PODS. Three people should operate as a team, share information, support each other, and collectively take responsibility for results. That means we care about how you work as much as the individual tasks you complete.

If you see something that needs attention, we want you to think about it — not simply decide that it is not “your task.”

  • Read and follow written instructions
  • Communicate clearly and keep the team informed
  • Document work so others can continue without you
  • Research before immediately asking for help
  • Follow through on commitments
  • Raise problems before they become emergencies
  • Look for what needs to happen next
  • Take responsibility for results — not only “your task”

Who we're looking for

A good-looking portfolio is important, but we also want designers who understand why the asset exists and can deliver from a real business brief without step-by-step babysitting.

  • Strong written English and clear professional communication
  • Previous professional work experience
  • Reliable remote setup and solid computer / research skills
  • Attention to detail and personal accountability
  • Ability to work independently and inside a small POD
  • Willingness to learn tools you do not already know
  • Portfolio showing professional digital or marketing design work
  • Strong typography, layout, hierarchy, and brand consistency
  • Experience with social ads, email graphics, PDFs, or landing concepts

The career opportunity

Someone might begin delivering campaign assets from clear briefs. Then own a brand or channel workstream. Then build reusable templates and standards. Then help lead creative delivery in a POD. People who invest in systems — not only one-off files — grow fastest.

We cannot promise where that path will lead. What we can offer is an environment where initiative, learning, reliability, and leadership are noticed. Our goal is to find people who can grow from remote professionals into specialists, project owners, and leaders.

There is a difference between a job and an opportunity

If your only question is about today’s task list, STRATUSstaff may not be the right environment. If you are thinking about learning, ownership, and becoming more valuable, we want to meet you.

A job mindset

  • “What tasks will you give me today?”
  • Waiting to be told the next step
  • Doing only what is explicitly assigned

An opportunity mindset

  • “What can I learn?”
  • “What can I become responsible for?”
  • “How can I make this process better?”
  • “What does the team need next?”
  • “How can I become more valuable?”

Important before applying

Our screening and onboarding process is intentionally detailed. Following the process is part of the assessment.
