BPO / Operations
STRATUSstaff is looking for experienced remote professionals who want to build more than just another work-from-home job. We work with businesses across technology, ecommerce, CRM, communications, sales, marketing, and business operations — which creates real room to grow if you can learn, adapt, and take ownership.
What you could work on
Depending on your skills and the projects available, your work could include:
- Business and back-office operations
- Customer and partner support
- CRM management
- Research and data management
- Project coordination
- Sales and marketing support
- Ecommerce operations
- Lead management and follow-up
- Documentation and reporting
- Website and content administration
- Meeting coordination and action items
- Process improvement
- AI and automation-assisted workflows
Our teams work with platforms including Basecamp, Zoom, HubSpot, BigCommerce, and other modern business technologies. You are not expected to arrive knowing everything — we care about your ability to learn, adapt, and take ownership.
The STRATUSstaff way
STRATUSstaff is built around small teams of three that we call PODS. Three people should operate as a team, share information, support each other, and collectively take responsibility for results. That means we care about how you work as much as the individual tasks you complete.
If you see something that needs attention, we want you to think about it — not simply decide that it is not “your task.”
- Read and follow written instructions
- Communicate clearly and keep the team informed
- Document work so others can continue without you
- Research before immediately asking for help
- Follow through on commitments
- Raise problems before they become emergencies
- Look for what needs to happen next
- Take responsibility for results — not only “your task”
Who we're looking for
You might currently work in BPO, customer service, administration, operations, project coordination, ecommerce, sales support, CRM management, or as a Virtual Assistant. Experience in those areas is valuable. You do not need to know every platform we use.
- Strong written English and clear professional communication
- Previous professional work experience
- Reliable remote setup and solid computer / research skills
- Attention to detail and personal accountability
- Ability to work independently and inside a small POD
- Willingness to learn tools you do not already know
- BPO, operations, VA, customer support, CRM, or ecommerce background
- Good reading comprehension and professional remote habits
- Comfort working from written process and improving it when it breaks
The career opportunity
STRATUSstaff is not designed around keeping good people on the same basic task forever. Someone might begin by supporting business operations. Then learn a CRM. Then earn certifications. Then become responsible for a process. Then help manage a client or project. Then become a POD Leader. The exact path depends on the person, their abilities, and the opportunities available. We especially want people who invest in themselves — if learning a new platform could make you more valuable, start learning it.
We cannot promise where that path will lead. What we can offer is an environment where initiative, learning, reliability, and leadership are noticed. Our goal is to find people who can grow from remote professionals into specialists, project owners, and leaders.
There is a difference between a job and an opportunity
If your only question is about today’s task list, STRATUSstaff may not be the right environment. If you are thinking about learning, ownership, and becoming more valuable, we want to meet you.
A job mindset
- “What tasks will you give me today?”
- Waiting to be told the next step
- Doing only what is explicitly assigned
An opportunity mindset
- “What can I learn?”
- “What can I become responsible for?”
- “How can I make this process better?”
- “What does the team need next?”
- “How can I become more valuable?”
