Careers / Ecommerce Specialist
BigCommerce / Ecommerce
Know your way around an ecommerce store? We're looking for people who can work across administration, catalogs, products, apps, integrations, content, and day-to-day ops. BigCommerce experience is highly valuable; strong experience on comparable platforms counts too.
What you'll own
Understand the objective, learn the system, and leave the store better than you found it.
- Ecommerce store administration and storefront management
- Product, catalog, category, and merchandising work
- Apps, integrations, order workflows, and customer operations
- Storefront content updates, troubleshooting, and clean documentation
- QA launches so pricing, inventory, and content don't surprise anyone
- Coordinate with developers when custom work is required
- Keep operational issues visible and resolved without drama
What we look for
We value people who research, execute, and solve problems independently.
- BigCommerce experience preferred; comparable ecommerce platforms welcome
- Comfortable with catalogs, apps, integrations, and operational ecommerce tasks
- Organized, technically comfortable, and able to learn systems quickly
- Takes responsibility for finished, reliable store work
- Clear written English and careful attention to detail
- Calm troubleshooting when something breaks mid-sale cycle
How we work
You join a small POD with clear ownership — not a giant org chart. Work stays visible in Basecamp, and delivery beats theater.
Small PODs
Technical, creative, and ops skills sit together around one outcome.
Async-first
Write it down in Basecamp. Updates are clear without endless meetings.
Ship, then improve
Working systems first. Polish and documentation follow close behind.
